Nature’s Compass was created as a way for people to enjoy the outdoors whilst still having many of the comforts of home. Whether you’re planning an adventure by yourself or with friends or family, we have all the necessities and luxuries to make your camping experience both relaxing and enjoyable. 

We create canvas camps in Algonquin Park and the Ottawa Valley so all you have to do is arrive and enjoy your vacation. We offer many different packages based on your needs and what you plan to do during your time in Algonquin Park. Whether you just need the basics (tent, bed, bedding, seating) or would like to add on an adventure or lounge package, we can customize your rentals to suit your needs. 

We also offer glamping villages which are great for weddings, festivals, yoga retreats, corporate events and more. Contact us about special pricing for events.

How it All Began

Brad and Kayla started Nature’s Compass in 2020 with a passion to share with people nature’s true gifts it offers for the mind, soul and body. We feel that it is important to take time to experience the joys and quietness of the wild, where this is the valuable time that people truly find themselves.

We feel like we were fortunate to grow up in the Ottawa Valley where our families would take us into Algonquin Park during our summer vacations to experience its natural beauty. For those who have always dreamed of going on a camping trip but either one never felt they had enough time or two have never done it and don’t know where to start? We make it easy for you to enjoy your vacation time to the fullest without having to worry about buying all the gear, packing it, setting it up, tearing it down. We take care of all the hard work for you while offering you a luxury vacation/adventure!
